Mobihel 2K Matt Clear Coat is a professional-grade two-component acrylic composition that creates a durable matte finish on automotive surfaces. The kit includes 1 liter of clear coat and 0.5 liters of hardener 1100, ensuring immediate readiness for use. This matte automotive clear coat is specially designed for painting plastic parts such as bumpers, mirror housings and decorative body elements. The main advantage of the product is the combination of aesthetic matte appearance with reliable protection against mechanical damage and aggressive environmental influences.

The two-component system is based on high-concentration acrylic resins that form a durable matte film after curing. HS (High Solid) technology ensures minimal VOC content with maximum dry film thickness. The clear coat is compatible with Mobihel basecoats, expanding decorative possibilities.

A mixing ratio of 2:1 with 1000 series hardeners or 3:1 with 4000 series hardeners allows precise control of the final gloss level. For plastic parts preparation, specialized plastic primers are recommended. Strong adhesion ensures long-term durability without delamination.

Method of application:

• prepare the surface by degreasing with anti-silicone cleaner;
• mix the clear coat with hardener in a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio;
• add Mobihel 2100 acrylic thinner or similar at 20–30% by volume;
• apply the first coat using a spray gun with a 1.3–1.4 mm nozzle;
• wait 15 minutes at 20°C and apply the second coat;
• dry naturally for 16 hours or in a booth at 60°C.

Working viscosity is 17–19 seconds according to DIN 53211 (4 mm nozzle at 20°C). Apply at 2–4 bar pressure. Two coats form a dry film thickness of 50–60 μm with consumption of 150–200 g/m². Pot life is 3 hours at room temperature; shelf life in original packaging is 36 months.

When working with the product, use personal protective equipment: respirator with class A filters, safety goggles and nitrile gloves. Ensure proper ventilation (minimum 20 air changes per hour). Surface and material temperature should be 18–25°C. Store tightly closed at +5 to +25°C. After opening, use within 6 months.
