Mercasol 2 Anti-Corrosion Coating

Mercasol 2 is a transparent anti-corrosion agent that leaves a completely dry and non-sticky surface. Surfaces to be treated must be dry and free from rust, dirt, salt, and oil. Application should be carried out indoors at temperatures between +15 and +25°C.

Mercasol 2 is a solvent-based (aliphatic ligroin) transparent anti-corrosion protective agent that leaves a completely dry and non-sticky surface. Wax- and sulfonate-based, it provides good long-term protective properties.

Mercasol 2 is mainly used on visible surfaces where a dry and non-sticky discreet protective layer is required, e.g., on vehicle doors and hoods or on tools and equipment. Mercasol 2 can also be used as an anti-corrosion protective agent in joint areas.

The 1-liter bottle of Mercasol 2 is primarily intended for use with a pressurized air gun together with a cavity tube. Mercasol 2 aerosol is applied using the supplied nozzle and tube.

When applying with an aerosol, two layers may be necessary to achieve the recommended dry film thickness, as the application layer is finer than when spraying with a gun.
